Bubble gum!
Upon his release, this newly reformed citizen was given a $50 check and a stay out of trouble from the prison guards. He took a bus to his hometown in Texas and immediately cashed the check. There, the one thing he wanted more than anything else in the world was a pack of bubble gum.
Man, we can’t recall the last time we had Tahitian Treat. As for bubble gum, we’re chewing on some right now as we speak. We can’t imagine what it’s like going for so long without a pack of gum in your pocket! That sounds almost as bad as the prison time itself.
