Post-paid gas
We’re all used to the post-pay system of refueling our car’s gas tanks. You fill up the tank first, check the bill, then settle it using a credit card or with cash. This guy, however, was used to the total opposite. Before his nine-year stint, it was customary to pay before pumping gas.
We’re not exactly sure why gas stations didn’t trust the man to prepay for gas. Maybe they were afraid that he’d pay for $10 and pump $20 worth of gas into his tank. This dude was understandably upset by the “lack of trust” before he realized that prepaid gas was no longer a thing.
