The old go-to ISPs are long gone
Do you recall back in the day when AOL would inform us that we had unread emails? How annoying would that be if Gmail did the same thing? We’d have hundreds if not thousands of notifications dinging all day and night. Thank goodness AOL went belly-up.
While NetZero and EarthLink are still around, they’re no longer the hottest ISPs on the block. In fact, we don’t even need to have a subscription. We can just head over to the nearest Starbucks or McDonald’s, order the cheapest food item on their menu, and browse the internet all day. Or maybe your mobile internet connection is all you need.
