RIP Blockbuster
Does anybody remember Blockbuster? Do you remember the feeling of strolling through the numerous aisles, looking at cassette box after cassette box of movies for rent? Perhaps it’s the smell that you remember most (we do). Yeah, those were the days. RIP Blockbuster, you’re gone but won’t be forgotten until our generation is long gone.
This guy’s father, who was in jail for 11 years, was stunned by streaming movies. He was so used to renting movies at Blockbuster that the idea of choosing from a near-infinite library of movies on Netflix and Amazon was too much for him. He’d spend quality time with his son, watching everything these streaming platforms had to offer.
