Radios
Again, we have another form of nearly-obsolete technology. Radios were the rage back when they first became commercialized. Everyone and their mothers had a radio set that allowed them to tune in on stations from around the country. Some radios even broadcasted shows that had voice actors that described the scenes in vivid detail.
Sadly, retelling stories is a lost art thanks to Hollywood and the entertainment industry. Today, the only radio stations worth listening to are XM, but you’ll have to pay a subscription fee to tune in. Most people who listen to the radios in their cars probably have dead/dying phones or no AUX cable.
