Hospitals
There’s really not much we need to say about the developments of hospital wards. Back in the early-1900s, there was less privacy between rooms. Only the most expensive private hospitals had separate rooms for their more financially-fortunate patients. However, not all hospitals are made equal. You can even find examples of poorly managed, understaffed, over-booked hospitals all across the nation.
And the situation is a lot more concerning in third-world countries. Until health becomes a universal right, there’s really nothing anyone can do about it. But we should thank our lucky stars that advances in medicine and hospital management knowledge have led to fewer cases of spreading infections among patients.
