Toasters
Nothing beats a good slice of toast in the morning, unless it comes from an early-1900s machine that burns it to a crisp. Even though they had flip-top toasters back then, they weren’t nearly as reliable as they are today. You’d have to keep a close eye on your toast to keep it from going black and burned between the coils.
Today, you hardly have to touch the device. Just push the button down and set your toastiness setting to whatever you like. If you have a smart toaster, you’ll know when your toast is ready to eject. All you need is a good jelly and maybe a few pickle slices.
