Zippers
Nobody really cares about zippers because the invention has already been perfected. However, before zippers were around, people had to either wear belts to keep their pants in place or rely on buttons. The first zipper came about in the 1850s, but it wasn’t a commercial success at first.
Then in the 1910s and after several upgrades, the zipper, known as a “separable fastener,” became the best thing since sliced bread. Now, there are all kinds of zippers, including coil zippers, invisible zippers, and magnetic zippers. However, they still haven’t made it so that guys don’t get their delicate limbs caught in them while zipping up their jeans in a hurry. Never go commando, guys.
