Hairdryers
Hairdryers aren’t actually good for your hair. Sure, they dry your hair quickly and allow you to style it in many ways, but the heat wreaks havoc on the individual strands and their roots. Nobody cared back then, and with the right nutrients and supplements, you can overcome split-ends and dryness associated with using these handheld devices.
However, the very first hairdryer model wasn’t as compact as they are today. It was a massive machine that required the user to sit still for several minutes while it gently heated their head to evaporate water. The first portable model, which all modern hairdryer designs follow, came out in the 1920s.
