Gas stations
We’ve never really given gas stations a second thought, and even the history of gas stations isn’t very exciting. After all, we go there to pump gas and complain about the rising costs of fuel. Back then, they didn’t have extravagant gas stations that we have today. One or two pumps was all they needed since there weren’t very many vehicles around in the early-1900s.
Then, in the 1920s with the rising popularity of automobiles in the US, gas stations began sprouting in nearly every city. Today, you can hardly travel ten miles in any distance without encountering at least one gas station and convenience store.
