Pocket knives
Any outdoorsman worth his or her salt should have a pocket knife on them at all times. The origins of a pocket knife can be traced all the way back to the first century BC. They’ve undergone tremendous variations and upgrades to make them a lot more effective and easier to carry. One of the most popular knives in the 1920s was the Defender pocket knife, pictured below.
And pictured below that is an upgraded pocket knife from the early-2000s. The blades are slimmer, sturdier, and can carve the carcasses of animals with minimal effort. The most popular modern pocket knives follow Bob Terzuola’s tactical design.
