The Perfect Pancake Maker’s infomercial is the peak example of “People struggling to do simple tasks.” It begins with someone trying to flip a pancake on a skillet, only for it to fall out. It even has that cliché “There’s got to be a better way.” Of course, the pan does work, making you perfectly round pancakes every time. But the commercial made it look like they’re making them perfectly golden brown instantly. You have to wait a bit before you flip, or else they’ll flop!
