6 Seasons (but No Movie)
How many seasons are there in your country? Two? Four? Five? India is one-of-a-kind in how the country has six different seasons, all of which bring significance in their unique ways. The seasons are summer, monsoon, autumn, fall, winter, spring, and prevernal.
You’re probably familiar with all of the seasons except monsoon and prevernal, so allow us to explain. This is a sub-season, if you will, of summer where many parts of the country experience heavy rainfall. Prevernal is when flowers begin to bloom. Trees begin growing new leaves, and birds return from their long-distance migrations. In short, it’s a sub-season of spring, at least by the four-season standard in the US.
