Mid-century furniture is enjoying a new appreciation these days. But, unfortunately, it’s pretty darn impossible to find affordable pieces from the middle of the 20th century. So, if you can’t afford to invest in an antique, why not create the effect of one on your own? You may be surprised how much easier this is than most people realize.

This person spent a good amount of time working on an IKEA sideboard to transform it, and it sure paid off. Their attention to detail was fantastic, from the gold legs to the gold lines running across the face of the cabinet. This sideboard would stand out and certainly draw many compliments from guests.
