Christina Applegate then
Christina Applegate became a prominent face in Hollywood during the late eighties and throughout the nineties thanks to her iconic role as the promiscuous teenager Kelly Bundy in Married… with Children. She was a regular part of the show throughout its eleven seasons, from 1987-1997. Her acting career had started long before that; her first on-screen role took place when she was a one-year-old and appeared on Days of Our Lives with her mother.
Besides her iconic role as Kelly Bundy, throughout the nineties, Applegate starred in a series of films and television shows, including the television series 21 Jump Street (1988-1991) and the drama Streets (1990). She also auditioned for the lead role of Titanic but lost the part to Kate Winslet, who went on to win an Oscar nomination for her performance.
