These days, actress Jessica Biel is most widely known for her lead role in the drama series The Sinner. The actress started her career as a singer and a child model and actress, and she appeared on television commercials and print advertisements. It took her some time to move on to bigger roles. In 1996, she was cast in the family drama TV series 7th Heaven.
Her first major film role was in 1997, in the critically-acclaimed drama Ulee’s Gold. She received critical praise for her performance, and yet Biel’s breakthrough only came in the early 2000s, when she starred in a series of films alongside major stars. In 2003, she starred in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), Cellular (2004), and the comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry (2007).
