Tori Spelling is the daughter of legendary film and television producer Aaron Spelling. Her first major role, and the one that put her on the Hollywood map, was the role of Donna Martin in the nineties popular teen drama Beverly Hills, 90210. Spelling began her acting career at the age of six, under her father’s instructions and support. She took acting lessons and appeared in guest roles in TV shows including The Love Boat and Fantasy Island.
In 1999, at the age of seventeen, she received her first, and most memorable role, as the foolish but sweet Donna Martin on Beverly Hills, 90210. Spelling stayed on the show for its entirety, from 1990 to 2000. During her time on the show, she appeared in a number of feature television films, such as Co-ed Call Girl (1996) and Mother, May I Sleep with Danger? (1996).
