Liv Tyler today
Liv continued to conquer the silver screen for the remainder of the nineties, with appearances in the comedy That Thing You Do! (1996) alongside Tom Hanks and Inventing The Abbotts (1997). Her next big role was in the 1998 film Armageddon, which was a box office success, despite receiving mixed reviews from critics. During that time, Tyler dated her Inventing The Abbotts co-star, Joaquin Phoenix.
Tyler’s international fame came after she appeared in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, the first installment of the highly-successful series, as Arwen the elf. Her career is still going strong to this day. The actress was married once, to Royston Langdon, the lead singer of a British rock band. Their marriage ended in 2008, and in 2014, she met her current partner, and father of her children, David Gardner.
