Uma Thurman today
As we now know, the film was a critical and box office success, and ultimately, that was the beginning of a prosperous collaboration between the actress and the renowned director. Pulp Fiction was even dubbed as one of the greatest films ever made, and Uma Thurman’s character is still considered one of the most iconic female characters of the nineties.
Perhaps her biggest role to this day was also a Tarantino film – the iconic Kill Bill (Volume 1 and Volume 2), where she starred as the lead role of Beatrix Kiddo, between 2003-2004. In 1998, Thurman married her Gattaca co-star Ethan Hawke, with whom she had two children, a son and a daughter, actress Maya Hawke. However, this marriage didn’t last.
