Tyra Banks today
Tyra Banks made history as one of the few African-American models to achieve the status of Supermodel. In the early 2000s, the model expanded her career to television. Her first role TV was a recurring role in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and later she appeared in Felicity, All That, and other series. In 2006, Banks created one of her biggest projects – America’s Next Top Model.
For over twenty seasons, Tyra was the host and a judge on the show, until she recently passed the baton to Rita Ora. Her vision for the show was inspired by her own experience as a model, and she wants to give an equal chance for anyone striving to become a model. The premise, as the name suggests, is to find America’s next top model.
