Tyra Banks then
Today, Tyra Banks is the face and the brains behind the long-running reality show America’s Next Top Model. Her interest in modeling and her modeling career began back in high school. Banks started modeling at the age of fifteen, and despite getting rejections from four different modeling agencies, she eventually signed a contract with L.A Models, and the following year, she signed with the luxurious Elite Model Management.
In the early nineties, still in her teens, Banks got the opportunity to model in Europe and moved to Milan. In the Paris Fashion Week of 1991, the young model booked 25 runway appearances. Her career continued to soar throughout the nineties, and Banks appeared on the covers of international and American Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Vanity Fair and other exclusive magazines.
