Gwen Stefani then
Gwen Stefani became a star shortly after she started her way in the music industry, and today she’s still a prominent name in the industry. In the mid-eighties, Gwen’s older brother Eric was forming a California-based band – No Doubt – and he invited her to join as the lead vocalist. That’s how Gwen found her way into the band and into the music world.
Gwen’s brother was a keyboardist for the band, and Gwen provided the vocals. In the early nineties, they released their debut album, which was a commercial failure. They didn’t give up, and in 1995, the band released its third album, which included the hit song “Don’t Speak” and was a great success. In 1997, the singer left college to tour for the album with the band, and never looked back. During those years, Stefani collaborated with other mainstream artists.
