Throughout the nineties, actress Drew Barrymore was known as Hollywood’s bad girl. She received extensive media attention for her on-screen performances as well as for her party lifestyle and her dating life. Barrymore entered the entertainment industry at a young age, and has had a rough childhood, which is part of the reason why she never wants her daughters to enter the field.
Her first significant role was in 1982, at the age of seven, in the critically-acclaimed science fiction film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Entering the nineties as a teenager, Barrymore already had a name in Hollywood. In 1992, she starred in the thriller Poison Ivy, which deepened her reputation as Hollywood’s bad girl. Later that year, the starred in the film Guncrazy. She went on to appear in No Place to Hide (1993), Doppelganger (1993) and Bad Girls (1994).
