Her iconic role as Buffy earned her worldwide fame – because who doesn’t love a good vampire show? At the time of its production, Buffy the Vampire Slayer was revolutionary. Gellar went on to appear in film, TV and theater productions, but to this day, her role as Buffy remains her most memorable Hollywood moment.
Between 2009-2011, following the birth of her first daughter, the actress took a break from her Hollywood career in order to take care of her daughter and focus on her family life. In 2011, she returned to television with the lead role in the show Ringer. Today, Gellar is set to star in an upcoming limited series titled, Sometimes I Lie (2020), and it was recently announced she joined the cast of Netflix’s Masters of the Universe: Revelation.
