Sarah Michelle Gellar then
Even if you weren’t a fan of the show, you must have heard about Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the iconic nineties TV series. Before she achieved worldwide recognition as the sweet, yet fierce vampire slayer, Sarah Michelle Gellar was a commercial star. She was discovered at the age of four and she spent her childhood as a child actress, appearing mostly in commercials and minor film roles.
In 1993, she had received her breakthrough role in the popular soap opera All My Children, which ignited her Hollywood career. Following that role, in 1996, Gellar was cast as the lead role in the critically-acclaimed Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She stayed on the show throughout its seven seasons, from 1997-2003.
