#13: James IV of Scotland (1473 – 1513)
When James IV of Scotland married Margaret Tudor in 1503 to bring peace between Scotland and England, he didn’t stop his old habits. He was a charming man, but he kept multiple mistresses throughout their entire marriage. He even brought some of his children from these other women into the royal household to be raised alongside Margaret’s kids. It made for a very crowded and uncomfortable dinner table for a young queen who was far from her home in London.
