#11: The Liberty Hotel (Boston, Massachusetts, USA)
The site of the Liberty Hotel was once a 19th-century penitentiary. The bars have therefore been converted into elegant restaurants and accommodations for people. This place carries in its design elements some of the old architecture of jailhouses with the use of ancient stones and a high-rise atrium; however, the visitors are presently taking pleasure in staying in modern rooms, sipping craft cocktails, and, not to forget, the extraordinarily beautiful view of the city.
