#13: William Wilberforce
Not to toot my own horn, but many of our unsung heroes would have remained anonymous. However, there are others here who don’t really need that push quite as much. While the internet regards them in this category, if they had a movie made about them, they’re probably not unknown.

I wasn’t aware of William Wilberforce’s particular historical role, but I’ve heard the name, so that has to mean something, and it is a pretty darn good name. And seeing as he dedicated much of his life to helping others as an English philanthropist, we can get around him.
