Okay, okay, this one is obviously not in Texas – they wish it was. Since Texas is so large, some areas of the state do see snow in particularly cold weather, but even then it comes in relatively small amounts. Other places see a few cloudy flakes, or ice at best. They wish it was cold enough to accommodate penguins!
For this reason, when it does snow in Texas, it’s a big deal. You have a better chance of seeing horses crossing, or any other farm animal, but it’s not as exotic (or cute) as penguins, and after seeing them for the hundredth time, there’s nothing exciting about it.
