Be careful
Mosquitoes are annoying no matter where you are, but in Texas they are nothing short of a menace, as this sign suggests. We knew they were an issue up there, but we had no idea about their giant size! Are they getting bigger with time? Texans like everything big – their nachos, their beers, their trucks and their guns – but I’m not quite sure about the mosquitoes.
You probably didn’t know this, but there have been no less than 85 different species of mosquitoes identified in Texas! So perhaps this sign is somewhat exaggerated, but seems like it’s a good idea to warn people from the mighty Texas mosquitoes.
