Conditioning Your Horse
Don’t you hate it when your horse doesn’t gallop whenever you want it to? Yeah, we don’t know that feeling either, and we’re not going to pretend that we do. Some horse owners have tried placing a bit of Vicks under their horses’ nose to condition them to listen better.
What the Vicks supposedly does is it disorients the horse, teaching it an important lesson about knowing who’s boss. However, you should only use this sparingly—if you use it too frequently, your horse might dread the very sight of you. Or so we heard. Man, we wish we had a horse.
