In a State wide broadcast, the governor noted that 16 people will not be allowed to upturn the decision of over 200, 000 people of the state, saying whatever was not founded on truth will utterly fail.
He opined that the APC was overwhelmed by the massive victory of the PDP in two different recent elections, winning in all the 16 Local Governments, saying their plan was to scuttle the Saturday State House of Assembly elections to prevent another massive defeat.
He called on the people to remain calm and go out en masse on Saturday to cast their votes for the PDP candidates in the 26 Constituencies.
Governor Fayose commended the traditional rulers and other major stakeholders in the state who have raised their voice in defence of the mandate given to him on June 21, 2014.
He condoled with the family of one Modupe Olaiya killed in Efon-Alaaye, pledging that the police will be made to fish out the killer and no matter how highly placed, will be made to face the wrath of the law.
