There are so many touristic destinations around the world today, and with all the information and recommendations flooding the Internet and social media, it can be hard to stand out in the crowd. So, this village in China had to think outside the box when they wanted more tourist attention.

They built a giant QR code consisting of 130,000 trees (!) in an attempt to make it visible from planes. That way, people flying over this village could be able to see and scan this QR code and learn more about the Xinhua village. How wild is that?
