#19: A Glitch in the Matrix

Google Maps does some pretty weird stuff, collating thousands of images to form its Street View feature. This strange double exposure has to be one of the weirdest and funniest ones to date. Some guy in Zambia was captured by Google Maps, but just barely.

The image features a close-up of the man, but his disembodied head and arm fade into the lush greenery behind him. Even weirder, the bottom half of his body is pictured from a farther angle, making for a disorienting image. The fade-out combined with the man’s face makes for a pretty funny picture that’s reminiscent of those 80s mall portraits that people loved so much back in the day.
