Good as New
We love a good old-fashioned DIY moment. People find items to refinish and fix up all the time while out thrifting. With a sharp eye and a little creativity, people can transform trash into genuine treasure. Take this woman’s yard sale find, for example. She found a statue of a leopard that looked pretty beat up and worn down, but she decided to take it home anyway.
She was in love with the wooden statue when she bought it, and her daughter took it to the next level. She repainted the statue to its former glory, giving it a fresh coat of warm yellow paint and beautiful leopard spots. The statue now sits on the woman’s porch and she couldn’t be happier with it.
