While this guy was ripping a log apart, he was shocked to find a purple ball inside of the trunk. He had no way of pulling the ball out, so he went on Reddit to ask the helpful community what it was. In no time, one helpful Redditor supplied the answer: it was an old golf ball.
Sometimes, people will drive golf balls into woods to never be seen again. More often than not, the balls land in a pond or on the forest floor. Other times, they lodge themselves into trees and stay there until a lumberjack cuts the tree down.
