7. Acronyms
While WTF is interpreted differently by every parent, and according to their current need, it seems as if it’s a common mistake to think that LOL stands for “lots of love.” It does make sense, if you think about it, but if you’ve ever seen someone use it correctly, there’s no reason to think such a thing.
However, when you don’t know what something means, it’s quite easy to come up with your own interpretation. Even millennials weren’t born with this knowledge, but acquired it along the way, and so they shouldn’t give their parents such a hard time if they get these things wrong from time to time.
