Boosting confidence through better posture
A simple thing like squaring your soldiers, sticking your chest out, or standing up straight can really boost confidence. Holding your head up high doesn’t mean you’re looking down on others, but it shows others that you’re comfortable with who you are and what you do. Your posture has a direct effect on how others see you.
If you have good posture, others will consider you a better leader and communicator, despite never taking a leadership or communications class in your life. And when others look at you in a positive light, you’ll feel inclined to maintain their perception. Basically, we trick our minds into thinking we’re more confident than we really are.
