Tricking yourself into eating less
If you’re subconscious about your weight, here’s something you can do to trick your mind into eating less. Simply use a smaller plate when getting food. A smaller plate takes less food to fill up, thereby tricking your mind into believing that you’re eating a regular portion of food.
Of course, you need to be mindful of what you eat as well. A smaller burger with all the sides won’t do much for your health. Also, there’s no direct substitute for exercise. But the first step to living a healthy life is limiting how much carb-laden food you eat. Remember: stick to a smaller plate or bowl!
