Bananas
I will never understand the need to put bananas in protective bags. After all, they cope perfectly well hanging on trees as they ripen, their peel keeping them safe from the elements. I guess that you could argue you can portion them up correctly and ensure that each bunch has 5 or 6 or however many bananas you want to sell in it.
One banana, though, does not need to be in a bag by itself. It doesn’t need protection, and it doesn’t need portioning. You can just put it on a shelf with a sign that reads “bananas, 50c each,” or something.
