Reinventing the wheel
Moving into the fresh produce aisle for a bit now, and this has to be one of the most boneheaded ideas that I’ve ever seen. Take an orange, remove its naturally occurring protective packaging, and put it in a plastic pot on a shelf, for people to buy.
Oranges aren’t even that hard to peel if you pay attention. You can even throw the peel onto a hedgerow and it will be eaten by birds, instead of you having to deal with throwing away the plastic pot that will sit in a landfill for decades. I despair at the way some people think.
