After a relaxed barbecue in your backyard where you’ve been enjoying yourself chilling with your neighbors, you need to figure out what to do with the coals you cooked your burgers on. Now, you could leave them to cool down before disposing of them responsibly, but that would mean coming back out after you’ve made yourself comfortable on the sofa.
Or, you could just throw them in your neighbor’s plastic trash can while he wasn’t looking and hope he won’t notice. The problem: hot charcoal and plastic trash cans don’t mix. Your neighbor is definitely going to notice this, and you’re definitely not going to be invited to his next party.
