Still in Training
Life is hard when you’re an introvert, especially when you end up with a job that requires you to talk to people. This OP found the perfect loophole whereby he got to both keep his job and didn’t have to talk to too many customers either.
When he started working at a books/music/video store, the rules were employees were supposed to remove the “in training” part of their name tags after the first two weeks. He figured that he could just leave his on so that people wouldn’t bother him and it worked. We’re just surprised that not a single supervisor noticed his name tag during the year that he worked there.
