Companies offer all kinds of promotions to attract customers and some people really know how to use this to their advantage. The OP was a kid when she was living with her uncle and aunt who happened to be professional trash collectors. At the time, Dominoes had an offer where the pizza boxes had red or blue tabs that you could collect to get free pizza.
Her family collected thousands of these tabs and they would end up getting free pizza every weekend for months. One man’s trash truly is another man’s treasure. Sadly, the company caught on and banned their address from delivery and eventually stopped the promotion too.
