Fake Phone Number
All schools have the contact information of every student’s parents on file so that they can reach out to them when needed. This OP’s school would even send parents a text to let them know when their child was late to school. Since he was pretty tardy, he saw a golden opportunity when his school sent the class home with a form to update contact information.
The OP changed the phone number to his own and from then on, the text messages would go to him instead of his folks. His parents never found out when he was late and he would save himself from getting grounded. Win-win!
