Off-Brand Shakespeare
It’s been almost an entire decade since The Avengers hit theaters in 2012, yet we sometimes forget just how impactful the film was. It revealed the connectedness between all five MCU film franchises by showing us all of the superheroes in costume and ready to roll.
What we’ll never forget is Tony’s introduction to Thor, which ended up with them clashing heads. Tony, a mere human, had the galls to call the literal god an off-brand version of a Shakespearean performer. But was he wrong in saying that? We could argue that he was, but if we’re being honest, no. No, he wasn’t.
