Meet-Up Depends On What Is Said Next
Yo! are you free? Many introverts might want to go out, but what you say after you ask them to hang out will determine whether or not they will meet up. For example, an office ‘party’ party is an introvert’s worst nightmare: one of those social gatherings that are inextricably linked with your survival. There’s no avoiding a work function for fear of being discovered by your boss to be something other than the ‘team player.’
At least that was what you assured them you were when you came in for the interview. Another night of nervous laughter and terrible attempts to appear sociable while your head is about to explode from the stress of playing this completely unnatural role. Social gatherings are not an introvert’s strong suit at the best of times, but certain ones are more intolerable than others.
