Can I have a bite?
Babies can’t eat everything adults do, and mostly, like all of us, they want what they can’t have. This is probably why this baby is looking at this chip with such intensity – he doesn’t even know what it tastes like, but he knows he wants it, because it’s food, and his father is eating it.
What’s most disturbing about this photo isn’t the baby – he’s just doing what babies do – it’s the father, who seems completely oblivious to his baby and his expression. He’s just sitting there, eating chips with his baby in his arms, and he doesn’t even realize what he’s doing to the poor baby.
