#9: Class (1983)
Rob Lowe and Andrew McCarthy first crossed paths in the blend of humor and drama that is Class. Directed by Lewis John Carlino, it starts as a prep-school story but shifts into unexpected romance when a family secret comes to light. It may not be as polished as later films, but it helped set the stage for the chemistry that defined much of the Brat Pack era.
