Oh, the Kit Kat bar: proud owner of the undisputed catchiest jingle in all the candy bar world. They’ve used the same jingle since 1986, and I bet any of you could sing it with me: “Gimme a break, gimme a break, break me off a piece of that…”

But now we have a whole new reason to say “Give me a break!” to the humble Kit Kat bar: what is this nonsense? If I got a Kit Kat, it’s because I want a wafer in it. If I wanted nothing but cheap, underwhelming chocolate, I could have just gotten a plain Hershey bar.
